SUSTAINABLE LIVESTOCK INITIATIVES MAP

(MIPS)

MIPS brings together ongoing national initiatives of producers, groups of producers and companies, in a single map

Its database serves as a benchmarking to replicate sustainable initiatives, foster transparency to the interested parties and to make the actions and its producers visible to the domestic and international markets.

Registration is voluntary and it relies on 50 registers, of the five Brazilian regions, for its first four years.

PRACTICES GUIDE

ON SUSTAINABLE LIVESTOCK (MPPS)

Its objective is to combine and classify, practically and didactically, the main subjects as: animal welfare and nutrition, management, pasture management, genetic and health improvement, compliant with the level of technological complexity, time and cost of implantation, impact in the productivity and the time of return on investment.

Its differential is the clarification of doubts on how to raise the technology level and farm management
on the basis of sustainability parameters.
